Despite all the advantages of the “Greek” life, some fraternities and sororities just don’t get it. Just last month though tragedy struck down South. Ten fraternity members at Tulane University in Louisiana are facing criminal charges due to hazing rituals that burned its pledges with boiling water, cayenne pepper, and vinegar. Two of the pledges had to be treated for severe burns after the ?hell night? which involved seven other pledge members on the April 25 incident.

These fraternities should be ashamed. Hazing events like this should have been banned years ago. It places a cloud over the rest of the communities which live up to the values of highest service.
