Exercise For Better Posture

Most people don’t think too much about their posture unless they suddenly become aware of their sore back or tight neck and shoulders. Most people who sit all day in front of a computer are doing so with bad posture techniques. If you don’t work on toning your muscles to enhance your posture, your posture will suffer and you will eventually will experience lower back pain, neck aches, and more ailments. So the first thing is to recognize the problem. Be aware of how you sit at the computer, how you sit driving a car, or how you stand and walk. Finding lower back pain relief can be achieved.

Are you standing tall? If you had a string attached to the top of your head and you pulled that string up would your body look taller? It will. So imagine that as you stand and walk. Do you walk with stiff knees? Is your arms relaxed? Become aware of these other body parts. If you sit for long periods of time, get up take a walk, do some stretching exercises. Go out and buy a resistance band or a foam roller to help with your stretching. Poor posture will fatigue you more. Exercise for better posture takes very little work. It may not be glamorous but it will make a difference in your health and lifestyle.
